Stm Engine Torque Plate for 4B11 Evo X

The STM 4B11 Evo X/Ralliart engine torque plate is made in-house at STM from 6061 billet aluminum and includes a set of 4130 chrome-moly inserts to protect your plate during torque down. Can be used with 4B11 up to 90mm bore.

A torque plate should be used when you have your engine block bored out. Anytime you bore a block, distortion will occur to the cylinders unless you use a torque honing plate installed as a brace to replicate the pressure and tension of the head when bolted down. 

The plate should be torqued onto the block in the same pattern and with the same fasteners and torque specs you plan to use when you do the final engine assembly.
